Overview

As a pharma professional working in the GMP environment, you understand the critical importance of maintaining sample integrity, optimizing workflow, and conserving energy. Join us for our webinar on the latest advancements in cold storage technology for the pharmaceutical industry and discover how to stay ahead of the curve.

Over the past decade, the demand for -60°C through -80°C assets in pharmaceutical manufacturing has skyrocketed. Clinical research investments have expanded, and commercial-scale needs continue transforming the industry. However, the lack of alternative solutions has made cold wall technology the gold standard.

But here’s the catch – cold-wall technologies were not designed or intended to perform in certain applications that are becoming increasingly common. Factors such as expedited commercialization of drug products, the need for bulk volumes, and the demand for flexible temperature setpoints have stressed traditional cold-wall systems.

Is there an alternative technology that can address these challenges? The answer is a resounding “yes.” Join us for this webinar to explore forced-air convection technology and discover how it can revolutionize your operations.

Speakers

  • Sylvain Riendeau
    Sylvain Riendeau
    Vice President of Business Development

Sylvain Riendeau has been a part of the Life Sciences industry for over 32 years, beginning his career at Forma Scientific specializing in ultra-low freezers and Cryogenic LN2 storage, including CO2 incubators and related laboratory equipment. Sylvain then became responsible for equipment services nationwide and was an international distributor trainer for 16 years.

In 2003, he started a datalogger and central monitoring company specializing in monitoring laboratory equipment, specifically -80°C freezers and LN2 storage tanks.

He joined Farrar Scientific in 2017 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing and has been part of FARRAR since Trane Technologies acquisition in October 2021.

  • Paul Sarrazin
    Paul Sarrazin
Senior Consultant and Owner at P-care Solutions

Paul has worked for the last 13 years in the pharmaceutical industry and has dedicated his life’s work to patients after seeing the damages of falsified medicines in less privileged countries.

Starting his career in quality in 2010, he transferred to global distribution and logistics in 2012, a bit before the EU Good Distribution Practices came out. Being blessed to work in several big pharma and CDMOs, all having cold chain and deep freeze products, he has been confronted multiple times with having to find creative solutions to achieve the goals of the companies he’s worked with, especially with regard to.

Since September 2023, he has been a freelance consultant, specialized in pharmaceutical distribution, quality systems and general compliance topics. His current assignment is related to the distribution of temperature-controlled biopharmaceuticals.
